The tenth Berlin Affordable Art Market opened its doors this weekend to record crowds. Spread across the cathedral-like halls of a former power station, BAAM10 gathered eighty artists selected through an open call that drew over a thousand applications.

The mood was buoyant. "Affordable does not mean lesser," said the fair director. "It means access."
